Below are Q/A that are frequently asked by my customers, this information is also included in the unity package for VRchat and V-Tuber versions.

Question 01

"How can I edit the skin texture / eye texture?"

Answer

The avatar's "Skin_PSD.psd" and "Skin_Base Color.png" files located under "Body - > Skin" are the main texture files for the model. You can open these files with Photoshop, Paint Tool SAI 2, or any program that is compatible with PSD files and modify them through the texture editing program of choice.

When you are satisfied with your edits on the PSD file you must save the PSD file and then save over the base color file to finalize your changes to the texture.

Question 02

"Why are the eyes / head included in the skin material?"

Answer

The head, eyes, and body have all been atlased / merged into 1 mesh and material to save on material count and to reduce memory usage for performance.

Question 03

"The Avatar won't upload!"

Answer

Please check "Pipeline Manager" for any foreign Blueprint ID, I may of forgotten to clear it before packaging. Alternatively, the avatar may not upload if you are missing a required script, double check "Requirements to Upload" for information on what the avatar needs in order to upload successfully.

Question 04

"There is something broken on the avatar! / A toggle isn't working."

Answer

While I am diligent in making sure all animations function properly before shipment, there may be a stray faulty animation, you may contact me via the email listed to report a bug and it will be taken care of.

Please also keep in mind! I use WD (Write Defaults) On for my animations, if you are experienced in creating animations then make sure any new toggles you create for the avatar follows this animation behavior.

Question 05

"Can I make this avatar VRM Compatible / Is this avatar VRM compatible?"

Answer

If the avatar is not already shipped with an additional package for VRM format, you are allowed to modify the files to convert the model into a VRM / V-Tuber model.

HOWEVER

You cannot redistribute the files or make the model publicly available, you are only permitted to modify the files for your own personal use.

"Can I stream with this avatar / Is this avatar commercially allowed?"

Answer

'By purchasing this 3D model, you have the commercial rights to use this character in broadcasting such as Livestreams / V-Tuber content, you are required to place proper avatar author credit in video(s) or in profile(s) descriptions'

In short: Yes, you can use this avatar to stream / make videos with, please credit me for creating the model.

Question 07

"I found this avatar from a website that wasn't Gumroad / I saw a public upload!"

Answer

Thank you for trying to do the right thing. If this avatar was obtained through a friend / found for free on an alternate website then it is a leak / rip of the model done by me - milesakashadow @ https://milesakashadow.gumroad.com/.

The action to take is to report the VRChat account that uploaded the public model, and report the website submission as a stolen avatar. If it was found on a website that is meant for ripped / free versions of paid for avatars, please warn others that the website is a pirating website and do not use any content obtained from it.

"How do I edit the Good rated Avatar?"

Answer

I have provided ".psd" files with the ".png" files of the materials, please modify the materials the same way you would modify the PC Very Poor option as told in Question 01 of this document.

Assets used on this avatar can not be taken off of it to be used on a different model, you must obtain the original asset from the creator of that item.
